Home Networking is practically a requirement in today’s homes. All the content for
music, books, movies and just about everything else is on the internet. New business
models offering these things become available on line regularly. The latest, as this is
written, is Spotify for music. It’s a huge hit in Europe…we’ll see how it does in America.
The old single access point, usually a wireless router by the cable modem, isn’t enough
any more. Good wired and wireless reception all over the house let’s you use your laptop,
internet enabled phone or I-pad anywhere you want. It also let’s you send music, radio
and television all over the house.
Basically, everything in your house with a browser or an Ethernet port needs access to
the network. Whether it connects to the internet itself, through a wired connection or a
wireless ‘dongle’, you need a good network for it all.
We do networks just about every day. From a single wireless access point to full house
access, wireless or direct connected, we do ‘em.
